Where did you grow up?
“I grew up in the Great State of Texas. I was born and raised in Houston. I lived a majority of my life in Houston, however, I ended up moving around a lot. My father moved out to Whitefish, Montana later on in my life and I have family in La Jolla, California. I did not waste my time living in California, that is for sure, there was so much to do and many lessons to be learned. You could surf in the morning in Santa Cruz and then drive to the mountains to in Lake Tahoe to ski all evening. My mother lives in Austin. Let’s just say I have lived in quite a fair amount of places due to my family moving and living all over.”
What are some of the challenges you faced along the way?
“Some challenges that I face are that I am a bit hothead, particularly how I manage things. I am very particular how I want things done to stay true to the core of a business manifest. This can frustrate coworkers and even my girlfriend at times, but in the end it proves my best intentions toward the core of a business. Some of these things can become a challenge for me because they typically create conflict with situations or sometimes people.”
What does it take to be a successful entrepreneur?
“Sacrifice, motivation, time management, creativity and determination. I believe if you are not willing to do these things you won’t be able to push yourself to the next level which ultimately will lead you to the next success in your journey.”
Where do you see yourself in the next five years?
“I wish I could see what my future would look like in the next 5 years. I think everyone has curiosity of what their future holds for them. In five years I see myself with great success, running a business, financially stable, continuing to help others grow their business, and becoming closer to my family.”
What is some advice you would give to a young entrepreneur?
“To keep on preserving and don’t give up on your goals and your dreams. Sometimes you might find yourself stuck or in a rut, but you have to keep pushing to get to that positive mindset and focus on the good things that will come to you if you work hard.”
Who is your biggest inspiration?
“My biggest inspirations would be Jdawg & Trae the Truth. I met Jdawg several years ago and he gave me a platform to bridge the gap between the streets and social media. J helped me lay the foundation in many ways to grow to where I am headed. Jdawg also speaks on some great things to those close to him. I take pride in sharing his message of hope to others via social media. I met Trae Tha Truth last year while he was shooting one of his music videos and he is a cool humble person. He is an inspiration to me not only musically, but he also has a big impact with helping out the city of Houston with various relief groups and programs. Whenever hurricanes or tropical storms occur, Trae is out there with his truck helping the city save lives. Mad respect to both of them for coming from the hood to becoming dope human beings, in both music and society.”
What else should the audience know?
“I would tell the audience to keep following your dreams and do not give up. Consistency and believing is key. Keep on pushing forwards never look backwards. I believe everything happens for a reason. Also, don’t forget, continue to create engaging content every day!”
